AND BACKGROUND
AGROINDUSTRIAL RAZETO LTD.,
producers of Razeto Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Razeto
Extra Virgin Avocado Oil, is a family business. Steeped
in Italian tradition, this exclusive estate produces
Fine Gourmet Oils in limited quantities to ensure the
highest quality and the richest flavor.
Maintaining the culture brought over by the Razeto patriarch
from Liguria, Italy is the origin of Razeto Extra Virgin
Oils. The Olio Nuovo or “New Oil” is made
from the right mix of olives, harvested at their peak
ripeness and milled and processed by a cold system within
hours to ensure a peppery and fruity taste, rich texture
and lively color in each bottle. The Frantoio, Leccino,
Racimo, Barnea and Arbequina olive varieties were selected
to give character to this special blend. Razeto Oils
are rich in antioxidants and low in acidity. Because
of Chile’s inverted harvesting season, Razeto
can harvest its Olio Nuovo from April to June.
Razeto Oils were the first Chilean Extra Virgin Avocado
Oil available on the market and are still the leading
producers.
The Aconcagua Valley is known to the world for its fertile
lands and unique microclimate. This is where Razeto
produces its intense and flavorful oils.
The richness of the Aconcagua Valley in Chile creates
the perfect location for growing and harvesting fruit
for these premium oils and allows Razeto Extra Virgin
Avocado Oil to be produced year round.
The long heritage of agricultural abundance of this
central Chilean region is the cornerstone of the Razeto
recipe for success.
